July 7, 2021, Indigenous peoples fighting the Lithium Americas Thacker Pass lithium project gathered in front of Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Carson City, Nevada. Lithium Americas hired Far Western to conduct digging and excavation for a cultural study on traditional Paiute and Shoshone lands.
